12cm of fresh snow overnight!

Good morning and happy Tuesday!

The snowstorm is here, bringing with it another 12cm of fresh snow overnight! The best part? There's heaps more to come with up to ONE METRE of snow predicted to fall this week!

While we're busy crossing our fingers and toes for more, the snowmaking team have been busy topping up your favourite trails with 150 snowguns operating overnight!

We're doubly stoked to have the greatest number of lifts and rideable terrain currently open to our guests in Australia, with 30 lifts expected to spin today and 35 freshly groomed trails ready to explore.

Due to current conditions (and while we wait for the snow to fall), please be mindful of the following resort area access details:

• Blue Cow: Currently only accessible via Skitube. Due to conditions, the Perisher Quad Express is operating to Mid-Station only. Copperhead Road is currently closed.
• Smiggin Holes: Accessible by shuttle bus only, running every 15 minutes between Perisher and Smiggin Holes.
• Guthega: Open. Access via Guthega car park only. No access/egress between Guthega/Blue Cow/Guthega

It will be cloudy today and reach a chilly top of 1°C. With fresh snowfall often comes wind, and winds are expected to be strong today and continue throughout the week. Strong winds often affect lift operations, so please make sure to stay updated by subscribing, following us on Facebook or Instagram, or downloading the Perisher app.
