Snow Start - Blue Cow Beginner Bundle
For first time snow-goers. Attain your snow legs and try something new!
The Blue Cow Snow Start Bundle is the perfect option for first timers who have never been on snow.
This bundle includes everything you need to enjoy a day on the slopes with an easy itinerary for you to follow. Pick from a 9:00am or 11:00am start time and experience the magic of skiing or snowboarding for the first time!
- 9:00am Snow Start Bundle Itinerary

Your lesson will start at 9:00am at Blue Cow. Please use the included itinerary to plan your commute to Bullocks Flat so you will have ample time to rent your snow equipment and travel on the Skitube to Blue Cow for your lesson.
7:30am – Arrive at Bullocks Flat Skitube Terminal
Start with printing your Mountain Access Card at the Ticket Pick-Up machines:
- Sign in to your Perisher account or open your Order Confirmation email to locate your QR Code.
- Scan your QR code at one of the machines located at the Guest Services counter to print your card. This will have your Skitube access, rental information, and lift ticket loaded on automatically. If you have any trouble, you can talk to one of our friendly team members at the Guest Services counter.
Next, head to the Bullocks Flat Rental shop to collect your rental equipment.
8:28am – Skitube from Bullocks Flat to Perisher Valley
Ride the Skitube up to Perisher Valley. Be sure to hop off the Skitube on the right-hand side of the train and change to the Blue Cow Skitube.
8:43am – Skitube from Perisher Valley to Blue Cow
Ride the Skitube from Perisher Valley to Blue Cow where you will disembark on your Blue Cow beginner journey. Walk out the glass doors and look out for our friendly Snowsports staff at the lesson flags – this is where your meeting point is.
9:00am – 11:00am - Lesson
Your lesson will involve all the basics to get you started. From an introduction to your equipment, learning to get your balance, and getting started on beginner lifts.
After Your Lesson
Once your lesson is over, you are encouraged to continue riding. If you need a break, Blue Cow Terminal has some great cafes and food venues, with an outdoor entertainment venue with live music most weekends! We recommend kicking your feet up to enjoy a hard-earned hot chocolate!
Returning Rentals
Rentals must be returned to Bullocks Flat Rental Shop by 5pm. The last Skitube from Blue Cow to get you back to Bullocks Flat in time is at 4:24pm.

Where is Bullocks Flat?

What is the Skitube?
Perisher's Skitube is Australia's only alpine railway and services Perisher exclusively, transporting guests from Bullocks Flat to Perisher Valley and Blue Cow. It is the safest and most convenient way to travel to Perisher. More information can be found here.

What is Blue Cow?
Blue Cow is one of four resort areas at Perisher and offers terrain for both beginner and experienced riders, perfect for mixed ability groups.
If I have Skied or Snowboarded before, can I participate?
The Blue Cow Snow Start Bundle is specifically designed for people who have zero skiing or snowboarding experience. If you have snowboarded before, and it is your first time on skis (or vice versa) we recommend doing a regular lesson.
Can I book this Bundle multiple days in a row?
No, once you book this bundle you cannot book it again. This bundle is designed for people who have never skied or snowboarded before. After you have participated in the Blue Cow Snow Start Bundle, we recommend booking a beginner lesson at Smiggin Holes. Smiggins is the perfect place to take your newly learned skills, become more independent and start to explore the excellent beginner terrain Smiggins has to offer.
What age groups can participate in the Blue Cow Snow Start Bundle?
The Blue Cow Snow Start Bundle is available for adults (15+ years) and children (7-14 years).
Please note: Bookings need to be made 2 days in advance and are only available for participants 7 years old and up. If you have skied or snowboarded previously please choose from one of our other great lesson options in Perisher or Smiggins.
