The Skitube is located just 25km from The Station. Situated outside the National Park & (generally) below the Snowline it is regarded the safest & most convenient way up the mountain.

The Station Services

Reception Hours & After Hour Check-in:

The Station reception is open: Monday - Sunday, 8.00am – Midnight, and Friday 8.00am – 2.00am.

If you are arriving out of Reception open hours - please call the phone number listed on Reception door and our Security staff will issue you with your key and a map. You will need to see Reception the following morning to finalise your check in.

Laundry

There is a guest laundry available at The Station. Washing Machine & Dryers are operated by tokens available from reception.

Bottle Shop

The Station offers guests a fully stocked bottle shop! For takeaway alcohol please visit Happy Jacks Tavern.

Dining & Bar

Dining & Bars

On The Run offers delicious pizzas, pastas, nachos, wings and snacks in winter from 5:30pm daily. On The Run is a great option for quick and easy dining during your holiday at The Station. Happy Jacks is also open offering a variety of food and drinks, daily.

On The Run also has breakfast covered serving fresh, hot coffee and delicious breakfast favourites like our famous bacon & egg roll. Please note: On The Run will be closed from Tuesday 15 September for 2020.

Bars

Happy Jacks Tavern is a buzzing, family friendly bar offering sport and entertainment PLUS an extensive bar list. It is the perfect place to unwind with friends and family! Happy Jacks Tavern is open from 4pm daily, and has WIFI for guests.

Please note: Some outlets may not be open outside peak season.

Room Facilities

Motel Rooms:

Our motel rooms all feature either double or single beds, an ensuite, bar fridge, TV, tea and coffee making facilities. All linen is supplied.

Please note: Strictly no cooking in these room types.

Apartments:

One bedroom apartments have a separate bedroom with a double and single bed. The lounge area has a sofa bed suitable for children, TV, kitchenette with full size fridge and dining table. There is also an ensuite and all linen is supplied.

Two bedroom apartments have 2 separate bedrooms – one with a double bed and a single and the other with 3 single beds. The lounge/dining area has a lounge and dining table and a full sized kitchen with a dishwasher. There are 2 ensuites and all linen is supplied.

Getting here

The Station Resort is located 7km from the Jindabyne town centre. Drive through Jindabyne and turn left at the second roundabout onto Barry Way, follow this road for 6km and turn left onto Snowy River Way. We are located 300 metres on the left.

How far is The Station from Perisher Ski Resort?

Perisher Ski Resort is 37kms from The Station, about a 40 minute drive in good weather conditions. In winter, road conditions can be unpredictable. You can experience snow, black ice and high winds. Please watch out for road signs and drive carefully. You must always carry snow chains when driving up to Perisher regardless of the weather conditions. Four wheel drive cars are exempt.

How far is it to the Skitube?

The Skitube is 25km from The Station. If you are looking to travel on Perisher's Skitube you must book online, in advance.

Do I need chains to drive to the Skitube?

Not often, but occasionally there is enough snow on the road to create problems. If you are unsure of the weather conditions, please check with Reception before you leave as they receive regular road condition updates. You can hire snow chains from our Snowsports hire.
