Conditions at Perisher are improving every day with the incredible work from our snowmaking and grooming teams. With all 4 Resort Areas now open, perisher is the place to be these school holidays! Whilst these areas are not interlinked, in the meantime, keep an eye out in our snow report for the latest updates and interlinking announcements.

Blue Cow

Access via Skitube only.

Conveniently accessed via Skitube, Blue Cow offers a great range of green and blue runs suited to beginner and intermediate skiers and boarders. For extra thrills, try out one of the fan favourite Blue Cow black runs like Kamikaze or Show Boat.

Smiggin Holes

Access via shuttle bus only

Smiggin Holes, affectionately known as ‘Smiggs’, is Perisher’s best first-timer and early beginner terrain. With a heap of green and blue runs, as well as first-timer friendly lifts like two carpets and two J-Bars, Smiggs is the perfect place to find your feet.

No worries if you need help finding your feet either, Perisher Snowsports School offer beginner lessons straight out of Smiggs.

Please be aware that resort areas are not yet interconnected by ski and snowboard trails, meaning Blue Cow is only accessible by Skitube at this point. Smiggin Holes can be reached via car or the free Perisher shuttle bus service.

Mount Perisher

Also referred to as Perisher Valley, Mount P offers a diverse array of terrain suitable for all skill levels, ranging from gentle slopes for beginners to challenging areas for advanced skiers and boarders. It is home to one of our five fantastic terrain parks, making it a vibrant and thrilling destination. Whether you are a beginner or an expert, Mount P caters to a variety of skiing and boarding preferences with its extensive selection of beginner, intermediate, and advanced areas.

Guthega 

Access to Guthega via Guthega car park only.

Guthega has undergone a big transformation after the addition of the Freedom Chair, with on-snow restaurants and views that will take your breath away. With a total of 16 runs there really is something for everyone. There is a reason why locals love getting to Guthega and end up spending most of their day there. 

The terrain ranges from Green, Blue, Double Blue and some Blacks for the more advanced skiers and boarders. With breath-taking panoramic views of the Kosciuszko mountain range, don't be surprised to see people stopped on the side of a run to grab a quick picture of the view. Guthega has some unique on-snow restaurants such the Burning Log and BASECAMP Cafe in the Guthega Mountain Centre, new in 2021, as well as on-snow lodging options. 

It also offers amazing back country skiing with Snowy Mountains Back Country with some stunning views and unforgettable experiences.
