The Red Bull Racing Team descended onto the resort to see who could take The Pit Stop Challenge.

Showing us first up how it was done, Australia’s best V8 supercar driver and 6-time series winner, Jamie Whincup, swapped the track for the slopes and joined Perisher’s Olympic Slopestyle skier Russ Henshaw to see who could change an F1 tyre the quickest.

Last year's 2016 result? A very impressive 7.2 seconds! (Although we think Jamie had an unfair advantage!).

The Red Bull Pit Stop challenge was free and open to anyone out in Perisher today, with cans of the energy drink also on offer to give participants a helping hand!
