With more than 70 centimetres of fresh snow this week and record snowmaking, it’s time to pack your gear and get ready to make fresh tracks this Sunday, as we’re thrilled to announce that we’re opening Mount Perisher tomorrow!

Explore more of Australia’s largest ski resort accessing the four resorts areas of Perisher Valley, Blue Cow, Smiggin Holes and Guthega.  Mt Perisher, along with Leichhardt T-Bar in Centre Valley and Roller Coaster off the Ridge Chair at Blue Cow, will offer great skiing and riding.

According to Perisher Snowmaking Manager John Palmer, the snowfall of the last three days has been amazing, along with optimal snowmaking conditions.

“On Friday night we had a record night of snowmaking and pumped out over 57,000 cubic metres of snow across Perisher, Blue Cow and Smiggins,” he said.

“This has really helped to open up terrain for our guests quickly this weekend.”
