It’s the day we’ve all been waiting for and we certainly weren’t disappointed. Having officially welcomed the start of the 2016 snow season, the kick-off has been nothing short of exceptional!
In celebration of this year’s opening weekend, Perisher is playing host to more than 30 international and home-grown musicians for the Peak Music Festival. Ticket holders are taking in the musical offerings of acts like Ngaiire, indie siblings Tinpan Orange, Maori musician Matiu Te Huki and hip hop outfit REMI, enjoying free rides on the Perisher Quad Express Chairlift between sets.
There’s beginner skiing and boarding on Perisher's Front Valley for those putting in their early season turns, with the magic carpet and Front Valley rope tow ready to go! There are also extra features in the PlayStation Slopestyle Mini Park offering adventurers that little bit more.
There’s lots for the kids with face painting and jumping castle’s on offer, complete with a massive fireworks display on Front Valley at 7pm on Saturday.
We’re excited to kick off a steady stream of behind-the-scenes mountain content, to help supercharge your Perisher experience, as well as exciting competitions and unrestricted access to the very best of Perisher.
Our website and social channels will be packed with all of the above, so if we’re not already friends on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter, we’d love to connect with you and share content with you there too.

Don't forget that Monday is your last chance to lock in an Epic Australia Pass for the 2016 season. Enjoy unlimited skiing and boarding in Perisher and access to nine world-class resorts in the U.S. for the 2016/17 season. U.S. resort access is subject to certain holiday restrictions.
We’re buckled in and ready to make the most of the Perisher season with you this year. Looking forward to seeing you out there!
