Spring has sprung! How to get the most out of current spring conditions

Spring has finally sprung, and we are stoked to have the most ridable terrain in Australia here at Perisher. Despite a slower start to the season, our dedicated team has worked tirelessly to produce and preserve snow, ensuring there's still plenty of fun to be had on the slopes. So, if you’re after some fun spring turns, we have the perfect spring holiday planned. We have even put all our spring deals in a nice little package for you here.

Current Conditions - Perisher Valley

First of all, it is important we highlight current conditions. On Thursday, we announced that Blue Cow was closing on Sunday 8 September, however, this has come around a little faster than anticipated, meaning from today onwards, we have one area of the resort open for spring skiing: Perisher Valley.

From today, Mount Perisher and Front Valley are where our lifts are spinning, and runs are groomed. Both these areas have a current total of 13 lifts that are operational in these current conditions. However, this will change as we head towards the end of the season, so please keep your eye on the lift report for more recent updates on lifts.

We also have some great Terrain Parks on offer, with our parks crew working hard to offer up some awesome features. Leichhardt Terrain Park currently has a huge range of rails on offer for more experienced riders. With one of the rails refurbished from an old Mount Perisher Double Chairlift Tower! Yabby Flat Mini Park is also still pumping and has some small jumps and boxes for beginners.
