It's been another awesome season at Perisher, and while it's far from over, resort operations will soon begin to wind down as we head into spring.
From Sunday 1 September, lift operations in Smiggin Holes and Guthega will come to an end for 2024.
Recent warm temperatures, limited opportunity for snowmaking, and an absence of natural snowfall means we can no longer safely operate lifts in these areas.
Fear not! Perisher’s two largest resort areas, Perisher Valley (including Mt. Perisher) and Blue Cow will continue to operate. With some fresh snow in the forecast, as well as sunnier and longer days on the horizon, there’s still plenty of opportunity to rip in this spring!
