32cm of fresh snow for Perisher! 

Winter has kicked it up a notch, with Mother Nature delivering 32cm of snowfall between Thursday and Saturday this week at Perisher! The Resort was back it its usual self once again, with a solid snow base, and temperatures dropping down to perfect snow making conditions. 

12cm of fresh snow fell from Thursday into Friday with no signs of slowing down. Guests swapped into their low light lenses as the snow continued to fall, bringing with it cloud cover and fog, covering up that bluebird sky we had become accustomed to this season. The snow stake showed an impressive dump come Friday morning, with an extra 20cm added to the tally, bringing our total snowfall to 32cm! 

Peak Snow Days are upon us 

With one of the busiest days of the season so far, we welcomed our weekend warriors as well as those hungry for some fresh powder. Luckily the wind was moderate enough to keep chairlifts spinning all day, enabling our guests to spread out around the mountain and ride between all 4 resort areas.

Saturday and Sunday have been declared Peak Snow Days, meaning the resort will be more popular than usual. With parking filling up quickly, we recommend looking into other modes of transportation including the bus and Skitube. Be sure to plan ahead to ensure you make the most of your time at Perisher!
