The Perisher Cup is one of the oldest and most prestigious ski competitions in Australia. First run in 1953, skiers represent their club as a team in discipline events – Giant Slalom, Cross County and Jump. 69 years on, and we are still teaming up and racing!
The Perisher Cup started as a Perisher Valley inter-club team event and is a peculiar if not unique event involving teams of four persons, each competing in three events - Giant Slalom, Cross Country and Jump. The best overall team result is awarded the Perisher Cup.
While deadly serious at the top end, it is also very much a family fun social event as well.
